General Terms and Conditions (GTC) applicable when you shop at the "Christian Metzner" online store. These GTC form part of all contracts between Christian Metzner, Wilhelminenhofstraße 83–85, 12459 Berlin, and the respective customer.

General
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders in the Christian Metzner online store.
1.2 The contract language is German.
1.3 Deviating terms and conditions of customers do not become part of the contract. Changes to these GTC are reserved. -
Offer and Conclusion of Contract
2.1 The presentation of products in the online store does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.
2.2 By clicking on "Place order with obligation to pay," you submit a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.
2.3 After submitting the order, you will receive an automatic order confirmation. The purchase contract is only concluded when you receive a separate order confirmation by email. If this is not received within 14 days, you are no longer bound to the order, provided the goods have not yet been shipped. -
Prices and Shipping
3.1 All prices are in euros, including statutory VAT, plus shipping costs.
3.2 Shipping costs are displayed transparently in the shopping cart and during the ordering process. -
Payment Terms
4.1 Payment can be made at the customer's choice by credit card (Stripe), prepayment, PayPal, or invoice.
4.2 If prepayment or payment by invoice is selected, please contact us in advance at info@christian-metzner.com. -
Delivery
5.1 Delivery within Germany is made via DHL or Deutsche Post.
5.2 Delivery to parcel stations is currently not possible.
5.3 If goods are not in stock, you will be informed about delivery times. If delivery is delayed beyond a reasonable grace period, you may withdraw from the contract. -
Retention of Title
The goods remain the property of Christian Metzner until full payment is received. -
Youth Protection / Alcoholic Products
7.1 The sale of alcoholic products is only to persons aged 18 and over.
7.2 By submitting the order, you confirm that you are of legal age.
7.3 Age verification takes place upon delivery by the carrier. Delivery is only made to adult recipients who present a valid ID. -
Right of Withdrawal
8.1 You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period begins on the day you or a third party named by you receive the goods.

8.2 In the event of withdrawal, all payments, including delivery costs (except additional costs arising from a delivery method other than the standard delivery offered), will be refunded promptly, no later than 30 days. You must return the goods immediately. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
8.3 The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be exceeded quickly (e.g., wine in heat)

Alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of the contract but are delivered more than 30 days later

Individually assembled bundles (e.g., wine packages made to customer specifications)

Sealed goods if the seal has been removed after delivery

Liability
9.1 Christian Metzner is only liable for intent and gross negligence.
9.2 For slight negligence, liability only exists if essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) are breached, limited to the typical foreseeable damage.
9.3 Liability for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.
9.4 Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected. -
Warranty
10.1 The statutory warranty rights apply.
10.2 No warranty exists for damage caused by improper use, storage, or handling (e.g., temperature, light, humidity, etc.). -
Final Provisions
11.1 German law applies. For consumers residing in the EU, the respective national consumer protection laws also apply.
11.2 UN Sales Law (CISG) is excluded.
11.3 The place of jurisdiction for disputes is Berlin, provided the customer is a merchant or not a consumer.
